It is difficult to find them, and much more difficult is to find them with no obligations. England's women hockey team has a tight shcedule, with almost no free time. That is why they won't make a tour by the province. "It will take at least three hours and they will be very tired because of the sun", explained Jhon Hurts, team manager, who added that tomorrow he will let them go to a shopping mall. "There is air conditioned and they can seat and have something to drink", he admitted.
What are they doing, so busy? Their journey starts early. At 7 they wake up, at 8 they have breakfast and training beggins. British girls practice at Natación y Gimnasia's field, where they will play the Championship that starts this Saturday. If it is not available -because all teams train there-, they choose a football 5 field named "Golazo", near the hotel, and where they played this morning.
At about 11, they come back to the hotel and have a technical speech with the coaches. Then they have their first rest, until 12.30, when they have lunch. After an obligated digestion, at about 15, they start a new session of training. After that, they have a new rest, which they use enjoying the hotel's swimming pool. Never more than half an hour because sun is very intense and could leave the players exhausted; they demand themselves too much. At 19 dinner is ready, and before 22 they are at their rooms, ready to a repairing sleep.
Diet
While Hurts takes a coffee and asks the journalist to write that the cookie accompanying his infusion is "very good", he describes English girls diet. They eat a lot of meat, pasta, fish and chicken. They avoid fried and very sweet food. That's why, as soon as they arrived to Tucumán, they went to a supermarket. "Cereals they offer at breakfast are very sweet so we looked for others", explains Hurst in his perfect English, translated by Jorge Luis Martínez Crippe, English team's godfather. "Going to the supermarket was a whole experience. It is very complicated to find things such as peanut butter", explains the Tucumanian who helps the team in everything they need.
